Schedule for Yard Debris Pick Up

 Leaves, grass clippings, pine straw and small hedge clippings will be picked up once a month for all City residents. These items must be bagged and sitting at the edge of the street. All city residents NORTH of the railroad will be picked up on the first Wednesday of the month and all city residents SOUTH of the railroad will be picked up on the third Wednesday of the month.

Limb pick up will be conducted by WARDS once monthly. Only limbs, brush, and small stumps will be collected. No leaves please.

There will be no charge for this pick up service as pick up is limited to 5 cubic yards (approx. 5’ X 5’ X 5’). On any excess there will be a charge added to the monthly utility bill at the rate of $6.14 per additional cubic yard.

Ward I – first Thursday of the month        Ward II – second Thursday of the month

Ward III – third Thursday of the month    Ward IV – fourth Thursday of the month

 

Sec. 8-24. - Household and white goods.

a. Appliances or white goods shall be collected separately from all other waste and trash according to a schedule established by the public works director or his designee. A reasonable fee as determined by the public works director may be charged for all collection of white goods.

Sec. 8-17. - Services provided; fees.

f. Large limits include: limbs, tree trunks and stumps larger than four (4) inches in diameter and no longer than four (4) feet in length will be considered a special pick-up. Customers must make prior arrangements with the city for this service. Charges for disposal will be based on time and expense. No pick-up will be less than twenty-five dollars ($25.00) minimum. Customers will be notified by door hangers, letter or via utility bill.
