PRECAUTIONARY BOIL WATER NOTICE

Due to Scheduled Maintenance/Repairs

You may experience LOW to NO WATER PRESSURE on 

Wednesday, April 1st @ 8:00 a.m.

The areas affected include:

Bennett Drive from Church Avenue to Glenwood Avenue; McDougald Drive; Old Bonifay Road EAST of Bennett Drive to dead end.

A “Precautionary Boil Water Notice” will be in effect for your area once water is restored.  THEREFORE, AS A PRECAUTION, WE ADVISE THAT ALL WATER USED FOR DRINKING, COOKING, MAKING ICE, BRUSHING TEETH, OR WASHING DISHES BE BOILED.  A ROLLING BOIL OF ONE MINUTE IS SUFFICIENT.  AS AN ALTERNATIVE BOTTLED WATER MAY BE USED.  

This “Precautionary Boil Water” notice will remain in effect for two consecutive days until two bacteriological surveys (one per day) shows that the water is safe to drink.  Please make sure to run water from an outside spigot or bathtub faucet to assure that the water has been flushed before operating appliances. 

You will receive an orange doorknocker once PBWN has been lifted.

THE “PRECAUTIONARY BOIL WATER NOTICE” ISSUED ___03/24/26_____ IS HEREBY RESCINDED FOLLOWING THE REPAIRS TO THE BROKEN WATER MAIN AND/OR COMPLETION OF SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE AND THE RECEIPT OF SATISFACTORY BACTERIOLOGICAL SURVEY SHOWING THAT THE WATER IS SAFE TO DRINK.
