Precautionary Boil Water Notice - *PBWN HAS BEEN LIFTED*

PRECAUTIONARY BOIL WATER NOTICE

Due to Scheduled Maintenance/Repairs

You may experience LOW to NO WATER PRESSURE on 

Tuesday, April 19th @ 8:00 a.m.

The areas affected include:

3rd Street from South Blvd. to Pine Avenue

Oak Avenue from 3rd Street to 1st Street

Pine Avenue from 3rd Street to 1st Street

1st Street from Pine Avenue to Dead End

2nd Street from Pine Avenue to Oak Avenue

A “Precautionary Boil Water Notice” will be in effect for your area once water is restored.  THEREFORE, AS A PRECAUTION, WE ADVISE THAT ALL WATER USED FOR DRINKING, COOKING, MAKING ICE, BRUSHING TEETH, OR WASHING DISHES BE BOILED.  A ROLLING BOIL OF ONE MINUTE IS SUFFICIENT.  AS AN ALTERNATIVE BOTTLED WATER MAY BE USED.  

This “Precautionary Boil Water” notice will remain in effect for two consecutive days until two bacteriological surveys (one per day) shows that the water is safe to drink.  Please make sure to run water from an outside spigot or bath tub faucet to assure that the water has been flushed before operating appliances. 

You will receive an orange doorknocker once PBWN has been lifted.
